Misrata Chamber of Commerce announced yesterday that it had signed an MoU with Warsaw Chamber of Commerce. The signing took place on the margins of the seventh edition of the Financing Investment and Trade in Africa Conference (FITA 2024) held in Tunis from 11 to 12 June. FITA is organised by the Tunisian African Business Council (TABC).

Facilitating bilateral cooperation
The MoU was signed by Misrata Chamber chairman, Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki, and Mark Trziesk, chairman of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce. The MoU aims to work on developing economic and trade cooperation between Libya and Poland, and facilitating bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially the private sector.‎

‎Opening doors for the Libyan private sector
Fathi Al-Amin Al-Turki said that the signing of this memorandum of understanding comes out of the keenness of the Misrata Chamber to strengthen trade and economic cooperation relations with various countries of the world, and to open the door for the Libyan private sector to build relations with counterparts in various countries, which contributes to enhancing intra-Libyan trade with various countries of the world.‎
