A group of 34 tourists from Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Kuwait arrived last Tuesday in the desert town of Ghat, the Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries reports.
The visitors are part of a desert tour which includes visiting several tourist sites in the southwest and the Hamada Al-Hamra area of Libya.
The Ministry pointed out that the desert trail tourism season for this year has witnessed an increase in the number of tourist trips and tourist groups, compared to previous years, following the resumption of granting tourist visas to cross-border tourists.
