The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Al-Hwej, met with a number of company owners and investors participating in the Libya Food Exhibition (28 – 31 January) from Turkey, in the presence of the Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions, Essam Al-Awl, the Turkish Ambassador to the Libya, Kanaan Yilmaz, and the Turkish Commercial Attaché, Yusuf Yildiz.
The meeting was within the activities of the Libya Food Exhibition, which was held on the grounds of Tripoli International Fair, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
The minister followed the interventions of the business owners present about the progress of the commercial process and private sector transactions in both countries. The meeting also touched on the difficulties and obstacles facing the movement of business owners and facilitating the processes of supplying and shipping goods and services between the two sides.
The Minister called for communication and coordination with the Turkish side to support the commercial movement and facilitate the procedures of companies and investors in cooperation with all relevant parties.
