Minister of Housing and Construction meets Iranian Charge d’Affaires, Libya’s needs in materials and reconstruction discussed

Tehran to reopen Tripoli embassy and strengthen health cooperation – invites Koni to visit

Libya’s Tripoli based Minister of Housing and Construction, Abu Baker Al-Ghawi, met last Sunday the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Iran to Libya, Ain Allah Souri.

The two discussed the supply of Iranian building materials products in line with the needs of the Libyan market, the participation of Iranian companies in the Libya exhibition, as well as inviting Iranian companies to participate in reconstruction and development projects within the Tripoli government’s Restoration of Life plan.

Al-Ghawi also confirmed the position of the Tripoli based Libyan government expressed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation regarding the resumption of the Libyan-Iranian Joint Committee holding its meetings, developing cooperation in the health and technical field, encouraging exports and cooperation in the industrial field, and exchanging official visits.
