Libya’s Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abuhisa, received at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters yesterday a delegation of officials from Chinese companies working in the mining and cement industry.
During the meeting, the Minister stressed the importance of investment cooperation with the Chinese side in the field of mining, troubled factories, and industrial zones, due to the capabilities and expertise that this country possesses in the industrial aspect.
For their part, the Ministry reported, the representatives of the Chinese companies expressed their desire for investment work in Libya and the establishment of cement factories in several regions inside Libya.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister directed the necessity of communicating with the National Mining Corporation to determine investment priorities and follow up on related procedures.
