Acting Tripoli based Libyan Foreign Minister, Taher Al-Baour, received the Ambassador of Germany, Arvid Andress, at the Ministry’s headquarters today.

This follows the latter's assumption of his duties as his country's new ambassador to Libya.

The meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation across various areas of mutual interest, aiming to serve the interests of both nations and strengthen their partnership.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest political developments in Libya and the national and international efforts being made to advance the political process.

They also exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation to support stability and bolster bilateral cooperation.
