Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba received in his Tripoli Cabinet Office today the Chadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Chadians Abroad, and Chairman of the Executive Bureau of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), Abdallah Saber, and his accompanying delegation.

Also present were the Minister of Transport, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi; the Secretary-General of the Cabinet, Adel Dhouir; the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taher Al-Baour; and the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at CEN-SAD, Al-Shaibani Abdalla.

The meeting focused on strengthening Libyan-Chadian cooperation, particularly in the field of air transport. The two sides discussed the resumption of direct flights between Tripoli and N'Djamena, with the first flight scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, as well as the opening of a Chadian office in the Misrata Free Zone.

The meeting also addressed preparations for the Libyan-Chadian Joint Committee meetings, in addition to discussing the issue of loans granted by Libya to Chad and reaching agreements on these loans to further enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries.
