As part of its efforts to promote sustainable development and support urban and service planning, the National Development Agency (NDA) signed a memorandum of understanding on 7 January with Turkish company AHA Engineering, Construction and Technology Contracting Ltd.
The agreement aims to support the preparation of studies and proposals for several development projects in Sabha, including the completion of the housing project known locally as Al-Hindiya and the Jarma Sabha Hotel (formerly Africa Hotel).
The memorandum was signed by the Director General of the NDA, and Jamal Ankaroglu, AHA’s authorized representative, who will submit a detailed presentation of the projects and their completion phases within 60 days.
The NDA said this step aligns with its commitment to adopting a comprehensive scientific and technical methodology in preparing strategic projects. This approach aims to contribute to the development of urban and service infrastructure, enhance planning efficiency, and achieve sustainable development that meets the aspirations of citizens.
It said this cooperation reflects the NDA’s keenness to expand its partnerships with specialized bodies and benefit from international expertise, in order to support the implementation of Libya Vision 2030 and transform development goals into a tangible reality on the ground.
