Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) reported yesterday that the Libyan Kuwaiti Company for the Production of Solvents and Petroleum Oils has started the work of supplying and installing the technical equipment and systems for its factory in MFZ. The step reflects the imminent start of the actual operation of the factory.
Strategic industrial projects aimed at localizing the petrochemical industry
MFZ said the project is one of the strategic industrial projects aimed at localizing the petrochemical industry, supporting the national economy, and increasing the added value of oil resources, taking advantage of the investment advantages and strategic location of the free zone.
The project is expected to contribute to the transfer of technical knowledge and enhance the position of the MFZ as an advanced industrial and investment hub, and a key logistical base for oil and energy projects, due to its ready-made infrastructure and multiple advantages.
