A symposium was held last Sunday (23 November) on the sidelines of the Libya Clean Exhibition 2025 sponsored by the Ministry of Local Government at the Tripoli International Fair from 23-26 November.
The symposium was part of the ‘‘Green Energy and Sustainable Development Options Dialogue’’ and was on the jojoba tree, green energy, and the role of modern agricultural technologies in achieving sustainable development.
The symposium included several documentaries and scientific presentations by a group of experts, including:
* A presentation on the Jojoba tree and its investment prospects in Libya.
• Review of the phases of the Green Energy Belt Project and the environmental and economic solutions it provides.
* A presentation on biotechnologies and their role in modern agriculture.
* Renewable energies and carbon emission reduction project.
The symposium also witnessed the participation Egypt from:
* Director of the Institute for Sustainable Development and Carbon Footprint, Dr. Mustafa El-Sherbini.
* Former Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Magdy Malouk.
