International experts and dam specialists will present for the first time their conclusions of a yearlong study on the Derna dams’ disaster that killed +6,000 people last September, the event organisers said.
The presentations and discussion took place yesterday in New Delhi during the annual conference of the International Commission on Large Dams.
The organisers said it is important for Libyan authorities to build on the conclusions of these expert findings as they plan reconstruction in the devastated city of Derna.
