The 5th Scientific Conference on Medical Responsibility will be held from 25 to 26 November in Tripoli, the Tripoli Libyan Ministry of Health’s Medical Insurance Authority announced.
The conference aims to:
1- Raise awareness of medical responsibility and professional ethics.
2- Highlight ways to reduce medical errors.
3- Create a balance between law and medicine in dealing with medical errors.
4- Highlighting the challenges and obstacles that prevented the implementation of the Medical Liability Law No. 17 of 1986, according to the perspective for which it was developed.
5- Highlight ways to maintain the correct application of the medical liability law, and the possibilities of developing it in light of scientific and medical development in line with the requirements of the times.
