Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) reported today that the second day of technical meetings between itself, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and Austria’s OMV, continued at its Benghazi headquarters to discuss the development plan for the Nafoora field.

AGOCO reported that the Nafoora field development plan discussions included exploring technical solutions to overcome issues related to declining reservoir pressure—thereby improving field performance and boosting production efficiency to desired levels.

They also addressed other technical matters concerning the field and its future development plans.

The meeting was chaired by Mohamed Ben Shatwan, AGOCO’s Chairman, and attended by members of the Management Committee and the company’s technical department managers, alongside technical representatives from the NOC and OMV.
