The General Manager of Zuwara Port, Zuhair Al-Maskhout, announced Thursday the port’s readiness to receive ships. The announcement comes after the completion of maintenance work on the breakwater and the deepening of the port basin.

The work, the Libyan Ports Company said, was completed by its Libyan cadres and the deepening was proven by the marine survey maps.

The Libyan Ports Company also announced its full readiness, the readiness of its machinery and equipment, and the employees of its branch in Zuwara Port to handle all ships in the port according to the available draft.
