Over 200 local and 50 international participants will take part in the 49th edition of Tripoli International Fair

The 49th edition of the Tripoli International Fair will be held from 7 to 13 May on the grounds of the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. The historic event is supervised by the Ministry of Economy and Trade and the organized by the General Authority for Exhibitions.

In an exclusive interview with Libya Herald, the Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions, Essam Al-Aoul, confirmed the participation of 200 local commercial, industrial, real estate and service companies and institutions, and more than 50 foreign companies from the countries of Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Indonesia, Malaysia, America, Italy, Spain, France, Egypt, and the participation of individuals from several other countries in various economic activities.

Tripoli International Fairgrounds underwent modernisation
Al-Aoul added that the management of the General Authority for Exhibitions has recently completed the modernization of most of the showrooms inside the exhibition grounds at the Tripoli International Fair. This included the maintenance of various service facilities, the provision of alternatives to electric power and high-speed internet, indicating that the equipment has been completed in all exhibition halls and pavilions, leaving only the arrangements of participating exhibitors.

Good support from Aldabaiba government
Al-Aoul said that the 49th edition will be the most distinguished in recent years, because it comes at a period in where relative stability has been achieved to a large extent in terms of security and economic aspects, with good support and motivation from the Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba government, which has given this session great attention.

49th edition will signal Libya is improving
Al-Awal considered the holding of the 49th edition in itself, with its wide local and international participation, a great achievement that will give an impression to the participating countries, as well as the rest of the world, that the situation in Libya is on the way to further improvement. It will signal that the volume of economic growth is good, and that the local private sector can carry out many industries at home and provide high quality services with the participation of foreign investors who have experience and knowledge in many economic fields.
