The “Made in Italy” stand at the 49th Tripoli International Fair aroused great public interest among Libyan commercial operators and institutional authorities visiting the historic fair.

The Italian stand, promoted by the Italian-Libyan Centre for Business and Cooperation, in collaboration with KC Consulting and BCL, saw the participation of various Italian companies in the field of food, fashion and cosmetics, including brands Braccialini, Epos Caffè and Pink Panda.

The Tripoli International Fair was inaugurated last Saturday 6 May by the prime minister of the Tripoli-based Libyan Government Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba and the Minister of Economy Mohamed Al Hwej. Both visited the “Made in Italy” stand.

“We thank the Libyan authorities and the Ministry of Economy in particular for having hosted us at this important fair, as well as thanking the Italian Embassy in Tripoli for their precious support and for having visited us in the person of the Economic Manager Giacomo Grandesso and the ICE-ITA Director Romano Baruzzi”, declared Khalid Chaouki, General Manager of the Italian-Libyan Centre for Business and Cooperation.
