The Libyan embassy in Washington DC announced Wednesday that it will start issuing passports to citizens. Residents in the US have been awaiting this service for years.
The announcement coincided with Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush’s visit to the embassy in its new expanded property. Mangoush had been attending the UN General Assembly’s meeting in New York.
At the Libyan embassy, Mangoush met the USLBA and representatives of American companies where they discussed economic relations.
