London, 4 July 2021:

The House of Representatives is holding a session today to discuss the problematic 2021 budget.  The session will be broadcast live on TV.

The Government representatives, including Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, are in Tobruk ready to face questions from parliament.

The redrafted budget has got politicised and become embroiled since April in other issues such as the appointment of the Sovereign Positions, the appointment of the Defence Minister, the appointment of Deputy Ministers, and the appointment of the head of Intelligence.
