London, 14 March 2021:
The Libyan embassy in Cairo said that its Chargé d’Affaires, Tariq Al-Hawaij, demanded in an official memorandum to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, that Libyan travellers be exempt from paying the US$ 25 entry fee imposed by Egypt.
The Cairo embassy explained that Libyan demand for exemption from the entry fee is based on the activation of the agreement signed between the two countries in 1992, which regulates the rights of movement, residence, work and ownership between the two countries.
