A senior Libyan National Army (LNA) commander, Colonel Ali Al-Thamen, was killed this morning at . . .[restrict]Benghazi’s Sidi Faraj front line, Dignity Operations Room spokesman Nasser Al-Hasi confirmed.
The LNA is the officially recognised army of the government and parliament based in eastern Libya.
Al-Thamen was the Commander of the Dignity Operation Room for all of the Benghazi front lines.
It is believed that Al-Thamen was killed by the explosion of a mine while he was exploring the area with his fighters. [/restrict]
