Benghazi, 24 July 2015:

It is being reported from Derna that locals have discovered a mass grave in a . . .[restrict]strong point that was formerly held by Daesh.

It is not yet clear how many badly-decomposed bodies there are in the grave at Gabat Bumsafer in Derna.  At least one of the dead was wearing a military uniform.

The Libyan Red Crescent has begun the task of exhuming the corpses and taking them for identification to the town’s Haraish Hospital. [/restrict]
