Tripoli, 29 March 2015:
The Libyan Red Crescent Society of Benghazi delivered a shipment of much needed medical supplies to Benghazi Medical Centre today.
The Cardiac Surgery department received 47 boxes of cardiac treatment medications and supplies, procured from a medical supply facility in Tripoli.
Transport of the shipment was a coordinated effort between Red Crescent branches in Benghazi, Tripoli and Shahat. The Tripoli branch shipped the supplies to Labraq airport where they were received by the Shahat branch, which stored them until they could be transported to Benghazi. [/restrict]
