Tripoli, 17 December 2014:
Air force warplanes attached to the Libya National Army (LNA) bombed targets in Ghariyan yesterday, . . .[restrict]targeting two military areas.
Local media reported that the warplanes’s target was a military camp called Abu Gheelan and also the security gate in the Al-Gidama area in south Ghariyan. Abu Gheelan is said to be an air base in an area called Al-Hamra.
A local source told LANA news agency that anti-aircraft fire thwarted the warplanes attempts to strike their targets. In the end, the sources said, the planes hit a building belonging to a Turkish construction company in Al-Hamra.
There were no reported casualties. [/restrict]
