Valletta, 5 July 2014:
Acting Interior Minister Saleh Mazegh signed a Memorandum of Understanding this afternoon in Malta with his Maltese counterpart Manuel Mallia. The MOU, according to the Maltese government, is expected to result in greater cooperation in areas of mutual interest, notably immigration and maritime safety.
Libya and Malta have also said they plan to collaborate on training as well as increase sharing of information. [/restrict]
