Tripoli, 24 July 2014:
Buraq Air has said it plans to resume flights from Tripoli to Tunisia, Istanbul and Cairo by using the . . .[restrict]Mitiga airbase.
The airline said that two of its aircraft were undergoing maintenance – one in Egypt and the other in Malta. Once the aircraft were back in service, the company would be able to start flights from Mitiga.
Like Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah Airways, Buraq suffered a loss during the attack on Tripoli International Airport last week when one of its planes was completely destroyed in the fighting. [/restrict]
