Tripoli, 10 MAy 2013:

It has been reported in Tunisia that a Libyan man was arrested on Wednesday trying to smuggle in . . .[restrict]150 kilos of TNT explosives into the country.

The man, who had not been named by the authorities, was arrested in the small harbour town of Al Khetif in Ben Guerdane governorate according to Tunisian daily newspaper, Assabah.

The boat, a rigid inflatable, aroused the suspicion of the authorities when it arrived. This resulted in a search in which the explosives were found. The man then tried to flee but was arrested by the National Guard and the anti-terrorism unit after a chase. [/restrict]
