Tripoli, 4 January:

The head of the Libyan Air Force, General Adam Saqr Geroushi, has been disbarred by the Integrity Commission. According to an announcement today on the Commission’s Facebook page, decision No. 9/2013 has been sent to the Chief of Staff Major-General Yousef Mangoush for action.

No reason from the decision was given other than that Geroushi allegedly did not match up to the Commission’s standards of integrity.

The Commission does not give its reasons — a situation that has resulted in it being attacked for lacking transparency.

This is not the first time that it has been announced Geroushi has been disbarred.  Last May, there was an announcement that he along with three other officials had been banned by the Commission.  However, no action was taken.
