Tripoli, March 29: NTC chairman Mustafa Abdul Jalil has told Tunisia’s caretaker President Moncef Marzouki that Libya is giving priority to . . .[restrict]Tunisia labour and investors.
They met on Wednesday on the sidelines of the Arab Summit in Baghdad.
In an indication that the two countries regard Maghreb cooperation as a more realistic objective than Arab collaboration, the two leaders agreed on the need for Libya and Tunisia to coordinate their strategies ahead of the Maghreb Summit scheduled in Tunis later this year. They said that the Maghreb summit was testimony to North African leaders’ belief in regional collaboration.
In their talks, both sides expressed their support for the Syrian revolution against the regime of Bachar Assad and opposed any foreign intervention there. [/restrict]
