In a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued yesterday, the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority continued the landing ban to Tunis’s Carthage airport but opened up all other airports to Libyan carriers. Libya carriers “can fly to all airports except Carthage,” said Kamel Sammari, a senior media official at the Tunisian Civil Aviation and Airports Office (OACA).
As a result, Libya’s Buraq Air has announced that it is switching all its flights from Sfax airport to Monastir airport as of 13 February. All existing Buraq tickets issued to Sfax airport will be valid. [/restrict]
