Libyan writer Radwan Abu Shwesha will be signing copies of his book At the Gateway to . . .[restrict]the Sea: Anonymous Margins from the History of Tripoli from 1803-1982 this afternoon at Tripoli’s Art House.
Written in 1987, At the Gateway to the Sea was first published in 2009. Today’s signing celebrates the publication of the fourth edition of the work.
Shwesha’s 2006 short film called “Chicken Soup” will also be shown at the event.
The book signing starts at 5.30pm at the Art House on Al Sekka Road near the Prime Minister’s Office. [/restrict]
