The basketball teams of two of Benghazi’s top sports clubs, Al-Nasr and Al-Ahly, will be competing . . .[restrict]in the 25th Dubai International Basketball Championship which starts on Thursday. It is the first time that any Libyan team has taken part in the competition.
In addition to the Libyans, there were be six other teams taking part. These include the Egyptian and Emirati national teams as well as teams from Jordan and the Philippines.
The 10-day tournament, organised by the UAE Basketball Association, is being held at the Dubai Al-Ahli Club centre. [/restrict]
