Benghazi, 17 November 2013:
Two men and a woman have been arrested following a shooting last night at one of Benghazi’s checkpoints.
The . . .[restrict]checkpoint, outside the 7 October Hospital, was being manned by the Mushat Al-Bahria Brigade when it was fired on from a car – reportedly a grey BMW – which then sped away. Members of Mushat Al-Bahria later arrested the three.
Spokesman for the Benghazi Joint Security Room Abdullah Zaidi confirmed the shooting took place and that three people – all Libyans – had later been arrested. No-one was reported injured in the incident. [/restrict]
