As part of efforts to support local production, Minister of Economy and Trade, Suhail Abu Shiha, met with a delegation from the Libyan Industry Union (LIU), representing most regions of Libya, in the presence of the Union’s Executive Director, Ali Nuseer.
The meeting, the LIU reported, focused on developing practical solutions to the challenges facing national factories and exploring ways to enhance their role in economic development. The meeting also addressed the Ministry’s vision for developing market regulations and protecting local products to ensure fair competition.
Nuseer and the attendees expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s efforts and his keen interest in addressing the most minute details of the problems facing local manufacturers, emphasizing that this direct support paves the way for creating a flexible investment environment that helps local companies grow and stabilize.
