Tripoli Court of Appeal convicts defendant to eight years imprisonment for embezzling LD 13.7 million from the General Company for Post and Telecoms

The Attorney General’s Office reported last Wednesday (25 February) that the Tripoli Court of Appeal, in its last session, convicted a defendant to eight years imprisonment for embezzling 13.7 million from the funds of the General Company for Post and Telecommunications.

The defendant was also obliged to return the embezzled LD 13.7 million and fined LD 27.5 million, while permanently depriving him of his civil rights.
