Libya Post announced today that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the private sector ATIB Bank, aimed at expanding financial inclusion and enhancing access to financial services across the country, leveraging Libya Post’s nationwide network.
Libya Post said the agreement aims to enable it to play a pivotal role in providing financial services by utilizing its infrastructure and operational expertise. This will contribute to facilitating financial transactions for citizens, supporting digital transformation, and reducing reliance on cash.
Libya Post also participated in the 6th annual Banking Sector Development Forum ( Tunis 6 to 7 December) as a silver sponsor, which it says reaffirms its commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at developing the banking system and strengthening strategic partnerships among various stakeholders.
Libya Post said both parties emphasized that these steps are part of a shared vision to support the financial sector and enhance integration between service and banking institutions, aligning with the state’s direction towards financial inclusion and digital transformation.
