Ubari Airport takes initial receipt of air navigation system (CVOR/DME) from Canada’s Aeronav

Completion of maintenance of Ubari Airport – to reopen in weeks

Ubari airport reported yesterday that it has taken initial receipt of its new air navigation system (CVOR/DME).

This comes within the framework of its efforts to improve and develop the airport, and in coordination with Libya’s Airports Department and Civil Aviation Department.

The navigation system was contracted for by the Civil Aviation Authority and Canadian company Aeronav.
