Whiba Group’s Al-Dafniya Food Complex realizes first exports to France

The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) confirmed yesterday that the Al-Dafniya Food Industries Complex, part of the Whiba industrial group, has exported its first food shipment to the EU – and specifically to France.

‎First export to European markets
In its statement yesterday on the achievement, Al-Dafniya said ”After the achievements of Al-Dafniya Food Industries Complex‎, one of the largest industrial forts,‎ in the African market and neighbouring countries, the first shipment of its products reaches France, to be the group’s first export to European markets. ‎

Part of export plan
This step comes as part of the steps taken by the group to develop its export plan and move towards the best opportunities and open new horizons for trade exchange in global markets. ‎

‎Compliance with international and local standards
The export of the products of the Al-Dafnyia is an indication of the quality of its products manufactured with the latest mechanisms and food processing techniques, and their compliance with international and local standards.

‎Achieving ISO certificates
The complex’s products have obtained the international ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 certificates, and the Libyan quality certificate, to match the products in the global markets, and this contributes to increasing exports, raising Libyan industries, and highlighting the role of the private sector and its potential, which in turn increases investment opportunities and cooperation in many other fields.‎”
