The President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raied, received the German Deputy Ambassador for Economic Affairs, Sven Crosby and his accompanying delegation at the Chamber’s Tripoli headquarters yesterday.

The Chairman of the Board of the Libya Trade Network, Ahmed Darwish also attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance trade cooperation between the two countries and the possibility of benefiting from the programmes of German institutions and organizations working in the field of developing trade and its systems.

The meeting also included a visual presentation to introduce the objectives and tasks of the Libya Trade Network and its programmes in developing the trade sector in Libya.

At the end of the meeting, the President of the General Union thanked the German delegation for this visit, once again congratulating the German diplomatic mission on enhancing its presence and work from within its embassy in Tripoli, stressing that this will be an important reason for strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Libya and Germany.
