Libya Transport and Logistics Expo 2023 – Misrata 29 to 31 May

From 29 to 31 May, The Second Edition of the Libya Transport and Logistics Expo will be held from 29 to 31 May at the Misrata International Fair, organized by the Libya Logistics Company and the strategic sponsor, the Misrata Free Zone.

Speaking exclusively to Libya Herald, General Manager of the Libya Logistics Company, Al-Senussi Baayou, stated that this exhibition includes all specialties related to the field of transportation and logistics services, whether land, sea or air transport on an area exceeding 5,000 square meters. The event will have international participation from Tunisia, Turkey, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Algeria, Egypt and China. This is in addition to the local participation of land transport, aviation, shipping, handling and storage services, as well as insurance companies, banks, shipping lines, and inspection and conformity companies.

Baayou added that the exhibition is being organized under the honorary sponsorship of the Ministry of Transportation with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Misrata Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Misrata Municipal Council and Misrata International Fair.

Baayou said the Libya Transport and Logistics Expo provides an opportunity for investors in the transport sector and its support services to learn about the latest technical developments in this field, as well as to benefit from the experiences of others in developing the infrastructure of the growing transport sector in Libya, especially maritime and air transport.

He added that the exhibition provides a suitable environment for private companies specialized in the field of transport and its services, government institutions and the banking sector to establish strategic partnerships, build bridges of communication and share in setting plans and achieving common goals to improve the local transport sector to reflect positively on the life of the Libyan citizen.
