The first preparatory meeting of the Supreme Committee to host the Arab Exhibition, which will be held on the Tripoli International Fairgrounds from 4-7 November, was held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Exhibitions in Tripoli, headed by the Chairman of the Authority, Essam Al-Aoul.

In an exclusive interview with Libya Herald, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Exhibitions, Essam Al-Aoul, stressed the importance of holding a large exhibition that includes Arab countries in one place in Tripoli. He explained that this would enable the display of the industrial and agricultural products and various services provided by Arab companies and economic institutions and the capabilities available to these countries.

Localisation and integrated Arab economy
Al-Aoul revealed that the aim of the Arab Exhibition is for Libyans to get acquainted with and benefit from the various industries in the Arab countries and the various economic activities. It is also to increase trade and transfer of experiences between them, as well as the localization of industries in them to create an integrated Arab economy that benefits all Arab countries. Hence, the exhibition will be an opportunity to display what is produced in Libyan factories and the services provided by the local economic institutions to the Arab participants.

Get acquainted with investment opportunity in Libya
Al-Aoul said that the Arab Exhibition will be an opportunity for Arab investors to get acquainted with the investment opportunities available in Libya in various fields, as well as to see the advantages and facilities granted in accordance with the law to encourage foreign capital.

Return to stalled projects
The exhibition will also create confidence in the strength of the growth of the Libyan economy and the significant improvement in its performance and for the return of Arab partners to complete several stalled projects in the fields of tourism, real estate, industry and others.
