Tripoli, 12 November 2021:

Speaking at the Africa Energy Week conference held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 9-12 November, Libya’s Oil Minister Mohamed Aoun affirmed the encouragement of the Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba-led Libyan Government of National Unity (GNU) for the return of foreign investment to the country.

He said Libya values greatly the return of foreign investors to the country as it has huge natural resources of oil, gas and minerals.

Aoun said Libya clearly suffers from a shortage of production in fuels, refining and petrochemicals and that his country was ready to listen to the visions of foreign investors in this sector.
