Libyan Railroads also emphasized that the railway network serves as a fundamental pillar for developing logistics hubs and supply chains across the region.
The Libyan Transit Corridor is an initiative aimed at linking Libya’s Mediterranean ports and Free Zone Ports by roads to Libya’s southern borders and to its landlocked African neighbours.
The revelation came during the participation of Mohamed Al-Tabouni, Libyan Railroads’ Director of the Cooperation and External Relations Office, in the discussion sessions of today’s Misrata Free Zone Investors' Forum.
Mohamed Al-Tabouni, part of a Libyan Railroads delegation participating in the Misrata Forum, highlighted the vision behind Libya's railway project.
Libyan Railroads said its participation comes as part of efforts to strengthen communication and cooperation with stakeholders in the transport sector.
