The Tripoli based Libyan Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, held a meeting with the President of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization in Rabat on 8 May.
During the meeting, the challenges of Afriqiyah Airways flights during the Hajj season were discussed, with Al-Shahoubi expressing the need to reschedule return flights.
They also discussed the resumption of Saudi Arabian Airlines flights to Libyan airports, with a Saudi delegation scheduled to visit Tripoli this week for a field tour.
