Libya and Malta have agreed to develop a cooperation framework through the signing of an agreement aimed at exchanging experiences and implementing specialised training programmes that meet the needs of Libya’s labour market.‎

‎The agreement was reached yesterday during a meeting between the Tripoli based Libyan Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, and the Ambassador of Malta to Libya, Charles Saliba, during a meeting at the Minister’s Tripoli office.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of training and rehabilitation. ‎

‎Minister Al-Abed stressed the importance of strengthening partnership in the development of vocational training programmes, which contributes to achieving the Ministry’s objectives and strategy through qualitative training centers and entities affiliated with the Ministry. ‎
