Transport Minister receives Serbian delegation to discuss enhancing cooperation‎

Transport Ministry meets Japanese company North Star interested in investing in Libya

‎The Tripoli based Libyan Minister of Transport (and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister), Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, in the presence of the Chairman of the Executive Team for the PM’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, received a high-level delegation from Serbia headed by the ‎Ambassador of Serbia to Libya, Dragan Todorovic, accompanied by a number of directors of Serbian chambers of commerce and industry and directors of specialized companies.‎

‎During the meeting, they reviewed the Tripoli government’s “Return of Life” projects, which aim to develop infrastructure and promote economic and social development ‎‎in Libya.‎

‎Serbia ready to participate in Libyan projects
The Tripoli government reported that the Serbian side expressed its readiness to participate and actively contribute to the implementation of these projects through its advanced expertise, within the framework of activating the role of the Libyan Serbian Joint Committee to develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various development fields.‎

‎This meeting comes within the framework of the efforts of the Tripoli government to strengthen international partnerships and achieve sustainable development goals.‎

It also comes in anticipation of the holding of the Libyan Serbian Economic Forum to be held in Tripoli shortly.
