The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Oil and Gas reported last Thursday (12 December) that a meeting was held on the same day between its Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel Sadig, and the Ambassador of Spain to Libya, Javier Soria Quintana, to discuss strengthening cooperation in the fields of energy and investment.
Repsol’s role as a key partner for Libya’s oil, gas and energy sector and inviting Spanish companies to invest in renewable energy, was highlighted during the meeting, the Ministry reported.
The Minister also stressed to the Spanish Ambassador the importance of organising a business forum between the two countries to strengthen economic partnerships for the benefit of both countries.
