Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced today that its Mellitah Oil & Gas Company was able to maintain and restart two oil wells, A62 and A80A, in the Abu Attifel field.

It revealed that tests of the wells resulted in the production of approximately 4,200 barrels of oil per day.

The NOC said these well maintenance and restart projects are in implementation of its strategic plan to raise production rates.
