The head of the Department of Support and Development of Medical Services (DSDMS), Ahmed Melitan, signed a cooperation agreement with the Chairman of the International Management and Project Development Committee of the Italian company GKSD (San Donato Group), Francesco Ghali, to develop the health system in Libya, through the management and operation of hospitals.‎

‎The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the launch of the Libyan Italian Economic Forum, held at the Tripoli International Fair yesterday.

The signing of this agreement comes within the framework of Libya’s policy to localise treatment domestically, which is implemented by the DSDMS.‎
