The Chamber of Commerce of Madrid organised a virtual conference (webinar) yesterday to introduce business opportunities in Libya.

The Deputy Director of the Spanish Ministry of Trade and Industry, who had visited Tripoli in June, the Spanish Trade office in Libya and the Spanish Embassy in Libya participated in the conference.

The Spanish Embassy in Tripoli informed Libya Herald that over 50 companies from different economic sectors followed the conference and requested further information on the security conditions, business environment and the main potential areas for opportunities to explore investments. Among the companies that expressed interest are construction firms, food, and energy.

The Spanish Embassy in Tripoli said this meeting further exemplifies the efforts to continue attracting investments and increasing exchanges between Libyan and Spanish companies.
