The Renewable Energies Authority of Libya (REAoL) reported last Thursday that, in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), a training course was implemented in Tunis from 20 to 21 October.
The training, targeting several employees and engineers working at REAoL, addressed the subject of auctions related to energy projects. Several lectures and visual displays dealing with the various types and aspects of renewable energy auction plans were reviewed and explained. The training also reviewed the benefits from actual experiences of developed countries in this field to benefit from them in strengthening the mechanisms established to implement REAoL’s national strategy for developing renewable energies in Libya.
The REAoL said the training comes as part of the continuation of the implementation of training programmes and within the framework of the importance of training in improving institutional performance.
It is also part of its efforts to develop human cadres and work to raise the capabilities of employees to advance the national cadre and create a generation capable of dealing with the requirements of the stage of advancement in the field of renewable energies in Libya.
